This is no way to start your morning! I can’t say what went wrong with this driver. If I had to speculate, I would say that either someone cut him off abruptly, or he may have fallen asleep at the wheel. Thankfully, I saw him walking around the wreckage, so no life threatening injuries. However, as you can see, the truck lies in a precarious position completely blocking the eastbound side of the freeway.
Because I was alert and watchful, I saw the accident in time, and was able avoid a collision. But what about the driver who is not so attentive? There are so many things that are potentially distracting nowadays. Cell phones, gps, applying makeup, and other things take our eyes off the road from time to time.
We all have to be disciplined in our driving. EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED! Allow yourself to the distance to react to what can be a tragic situation. Remember that there are some things that “I’m sorry ” just won’t fix!

This way you can record not only what is in front of you, but on the left and right sides of your vehicle facing the rear. This comes in handy in the event that there are no witnesses to the incident, or more often people who bear false witness.
